Creekside is a model of effective decision making. Creekside owners run the community through consensus decision-making and volunteer labour, working on various teams, projects and social events.  Strata fees are currently $350 per month.

The property has a rural sense yet is conveniently accessible to many urban resources. Within walking distance is lively downtown Courtenay, the library, Driftwood mall with a movie theatre, and a funky coffee house in artsy Tin Town. Outdoor farmers' markets provide locally produced fruits, vegetables, wine, cheese and other products all year round.  And all within a 30-minute drive are Comox International airport, world class mountain biking in Cumberland, hiking, alpine and Nordic skiing at Mt Washington. Canoeing, kayaking, and beachcombing are popular activities in the area. As well, Creekside Commons is adjacent to a park with extensive wooded walking trails.
